[RS] Community Standards

Play Fair. Respect Others.

Our rules exist to keep [RS] services organized, fair, welcoming, and enjoyable. Whether you're hanging out in Discord or playing on one of our servers, the same core expectations apply: respect the community, play in good faith, and don't make the experience worse for everyone else.
Before You Play

Rules Apply
Across Our Services.

Our servers share similar rulesets. When a game, server, event, or platform requires additional rules, those requirements are listed separately on this page.
Game-specific rules supplement the community rules. Joining a specific [RS] server does not replace the broader community standards. Both sets of rules apply where relevant.
Community Rules

Standards That

These standards apply throughout Rogue Soldiers services and form the foundation for how the Leadership Team manages the community.

Advertising, Promotion, and Recruitment

Advertising, self-promotion, solicitation, or recruitment is not permitted within Rogue Soldiers services without prior approval from the Leadership Team.

This includes promoting outside communities, clans, guilds, platoons, Discord servers, organizations, products, services, or social platforms in a disruptive or unsolicited manner.

Attempts to recruit members away from Rogue Soldiers may result in moderation action.

Rules Are Not Exhaustive

These rules serve as broad community guidelines and are not meant to cover every possible situation. Additional rules or adjustments may be made as needed depending on the service, event, or circumstances involved.

Members of the Leadership Team may use reasonable discretion when interpreting and enforcing these rules in order to protect the community and maintain a positive environment.

Attempts to argue, derail, or publicly contest moderation actions may result in additional moderation action.

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error or would like clarification regarding an action taken against your account, concerns should be handled respectfully through the appropriate support or appeal channels rather than through public arguments or disruption.

Leadership discretion may apply

Access Is a Privilege

Rogue Soldiers is a private community, and access to our services is considered a privilege rather than a guaranteed right.

Our spaces are governed by community rules as well as the Terms of Service of the platforms and services connected to them.

We support respectful and open discussion, but moderation may occur whenever necessary to maintain a healthy environment for the community.

Access may be revoked when necessary

Discord Rules

Keep Communication
Usable.

Discord is the center of the [RS] community. These rules apply to text channels, voice channels, tickets, direct interactions involving [RS] services, and other Discord-based community features.

Spam and intentionally disruptive behavior are not permitted within our Discord server, voice channels, or community spaces. This includes excessive or repeated messages, emoji spam, reaction spam, unnecessary mentions or pings, soundboard abuse, repetitive media uploads, copy-pasted content, mic spam, or other behavior intended to flood, clutter, interrupt, or derail conversations.

Friendly banter and joking around are part of gaming communities, but excessive trolling, baiting, provoking arguments, attention-seeking behavior, or repeatedly disrupting conversations after being asked to stop is not acceptable.

Members are expected to interact in good faith and avoid behavior intended to frustrate, overwhelm, or negatively impact the experience of others.

This rule also applies to voice communication and gameplay environments. Excessive background noise, intentionally talking over others, disruptive soundboards, or interfering with players attempting to coordinate during gameplay may result in moderation action.

Help keep the community organized and easy to navigate by using text and voice channels for their intended topics and purposes whenever possible.

Keeping discussions reasonably relevant to the channel helps members follow conversations more easily and allows users to quickly find the information, games, or community spaces they are looking for.

Voice channels are flexible and may be used for general conversation and socializing; however, members should remain mindful of players actively using game-focused channels for gameplay communication, strategy, coordination, and teamwork.

If a group is actively communicating during a match, unrelated conversations should be moved to another channel out of courtesy and respect for the players involved.

This is especially important in teamwork-heavy, tactical, or extraction-based games where clear communication and situational awareness directly affect gameplay.

Please use mentions, role pings, and notifications responsibly. Excessive, unnecessary, or disruptive use of pings โ€” including repeated mentions, mass mentions, or intentionally spamming notifications โ€” is not permitted.

Members should avoid using pings to harass, pressure, provoke, or demand attention from other users or members of the Leadership Team.

Support channels, tickets, reports, and other staff resources exist to help members and maintain the community.

Misusing these systems through trolling, spam, false reports, unnecessary ticket creation, or intentionally wasting staff time is not permitted.

Members are expected to communicate honestly and respectfully when interacting with the Leadership Team or requesting support.

Repeated abuse of support systems, refusal to cooperate in good faith, or intentionally creating unnecessary workload for volunteers may result in moderation action.

Please remember that all Leadership Team members are volunteers donating their time to support the community and its services.

If you encounter problematic content, rule violations, harassment, or other community-related concerns within our Discord server, please report the issue through our ticket system or in ใ€Œ๐Ÿ†˜ใ€ask-an-admin so the Leadership Team can review and address the situation appropriately.

Members should avoid unnecessarily reporting community content directly to Discord when the issue can reasonably be handled internally through our moderation systems.

This rule does not apply to emergencies, illegal activity, immediate safety concerns, or situations that require direct platform intervention under Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

All members are expected to follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using Rogue Soldiers Discord services.

Content or behavior involving scams, malicious links, account theft, phishing, self-bots, illegal activity, unauthorized account sharing or selling, or other prohibited conduct under Discord policies is not permitted within our community.

Violations of Discord platform policies may result in moderation action within Rogue Soldiers services regardless of whether action has already been taken by Discord itself.

Game Server Rules

Every Game
Plays Differently.

Community standards apply everywhere, but individual games may require additional rules based on their mechanics, communication systems, server configuration, and style of play.
[RS] Game Server Rules
BattleBit: Remastered
3 Game-Specific Rules

All players are expected to communicate respectfully with other members of the server and community at all times.

Friendly banter and competitive trash talk may happen in gaming environments, but harassment, personal attacks, excessive toxicity, or behavior intended to target, provoke, or degrade other players is not permitted.

Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, slurs, or language targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or other personal characteristics is strictly prohibited.

This rule applies to all forms of communication connected to our server and community, including in-game chat, voice communication, usernames, clan tags, signs, and other player-created content.

Player reports should be submitted honestly, accurately, and in good faith.

False, misleading, malicious, or intentionally exaggerated reports are not permitted. This includes knowingly providing false information, attempting to misuse the reporting system to target other players, or repeatedly filing reports without legitimate reason.

Players are encouraged to provide as much useful information as possible when submitting a report, including clips, screenshots, timestamps, usernames, or other relevant details whenever available.

Proximity and squad voice channels should primarily be used for clear, relevant communication that supports teamwork, coordination, and overall gameplay.

Players are expected to be mindful of others who rely on voice communication for callouts, strategy, and situational awareness.

Music, soundboards, voice changers, memes, or other audio may not be used in a way that disrupts communication or negatively impacts the experience of other players.

Low-volume music or lighthearted audio that does not interfere with gameplay is generally acceptable; however, if other players ask for the volume to be lowered or turned off, those requests should be respected.

Moderation Review

Appeals &
Accountability.

Moderation issues should be handled through the proper support channels rather than public arguments. The appeal and reporting systems give members a structured way to request review or report misconduct.
Ban Appeals

Appeal Your Ban

To appeal a ban, go to the ใ€Œ๐Ÿ†˜ใ€contact-support channel and select the Appeal a ban option.

You will be required to provide:

The server you were banned from
Your in-game name
Your Steam ID or other relevant identifiers
The reason for your ban
A brief explanation of why the ban should be lifted

A ticket will be created and the Appeals Team will be notified. They will review your appeal and may consult the staff member who issued the ban if needed.

Bans issued from the Discord server itself are not handled through this appeal process and are not eligible for appeal here.

You are expected to follow all community standards during the appeal process. Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior may result in your ban being extended or made permanent.

Do not discuss your ban publicly or outside of your appeal ticket.

Abuse Reporting

Report An [RS] Admin Or Member

To report an [RS] admin, staff member, clan member, or community member, go to the ใ€Œ๐Ÿ†˜ใ€contact-support channel and select the appropriate report option.

You may be asked to provide:

Who you are reporting
Where the incident happened
What happened
Screenshots, clips, logs, or other evidence
Relevant usernames, Steam IDs, Discord IDs, or other identifiers

A ticket will be created and reviewed by the appropriate Leadership Team. Reports involving staff may be escalated to Senior Admins or uninvolved leadership members if needed.

Reports must be made honestly and in good faith. False reports, harassment, misleading information, retaliation, or public drama about an active report may result in disciplinary action.

Respect The Community.
Enjoy The Game.

These rules are here to protect the community, not complicate it. Participate in good faith, use common sense, respect other players and members, and use the proper support channels when something needs staff attention.
