BattleBit: Remastered is an online multiplayer game where the community is a central part of the experience. Its Community Guidelines establish what behavior is and is not permitted throughout the game.
These are BattleBit: Remastered's game-wide community standards.
They apply in addition to the rules established for [RS] Rogue Soldiers Clan servers.
The BattleBit Community Guidelines apply throughout the game, including:
- Official game services.
- Community servers.
- Text chat.
- Voice chat.
- Clans.
- Player accounts.
Violations may result in warnings or temporary or permanent suspension of a player's BattleBit account.
Players are responsible for violations committed through their accounts.
Do Not Harass Others
Harassment is the intentional and repeated targeting of another person or group with malicious intent.
Playful trash talk may be acceptable, but behavior that crosses into deliberate harassment is prohibited.
Harassment can include threats of real-world violence, malicious impersonation, and behavior intentionally designed to have a disproportionately negative effect on another player's experience.
Examples
- Stream sniping a content creator.
- Repeatedly finding and killing a particular player with no legitimate gameplay or sportsmanship purpose.
- Repeatedly dismantling player-built structures with malicious intent.
- Deliberately obstructing another player's view for an extended period to interfere with their gameplay.
Do Not Engage in Hate Speech
Hate speech is behavior that attacks another person or group based on a protected characteristic.
BattleBit does not permit hate speech.
Ordinary playful trash talk does not become acceptable when it targets someone because of a protected characteristic.
Protected Characteristics
- Race
- Religion
- Ethnicity
- Color
- Caste
- Sex
- Gender
- Gender Identity
- Sexual Orientation
- Disability
- Immigration Status
Examples
- Using discriminatory slurs through voice chat, including the death microphone.
- Advocating that someone should be harmed because of a protected characteristic.
- Belittling or attacking another person because of a protected characteristic.
Do Not Distribute Harmful Content
Content intended or reasonably likely to cause serious mental distress or physical harm is prohibited.
This includes harmful material distributed through messages, links, profile images, or other game-supported communication methods.
Examples
- Providing dangerous misinformation that could cause someone physical harm.
- Denying a well-documented genocide.
- Sending malicious links, malware, or intentionally disturbing surprise content.
- Using sexually explicit profile imagery.
Do Not Engage in Malicious or Illegal Activities
Malicious or illegal activity is prohibited throughout BattleBit.
This includes conduct such as:
- Doxxing or distributing another person's private information.
- Conducting or threatening denial-of-service attacks.
- Distributing child sexual abuse material.

- Engaging a minor in discussions involving sexual experiences or advice.
- Initiating or threatening a denial-of-service attack against a server or another person.
Keep It Appropriate
BattleBit is not considered an appropriate environment for certain sensitive or explicit discussions.
Conversations centered around the following subjects are not permitted:
- Political ideology.
- Political parties or political figures.
- Religious promotion.
- Sensitive world events.
- Ongoing wars or similar geopolitical conflicts.

- Starting discussions or arguments about an ongoing war.
- Explicitly describing sexual experiences.
- Graphic discussion of sexual anatomy.
Keep It Clean
BattleBit aims to maintain a usable and coherent communication environment.
Players should not flood text chat with excessive messages or repeatedly use game chat for advertising.
Voice chat may be used for entertainment as well as useful communication. Music and soundboards may be acceptable when they do not violate another Community Guideline or become excessively disruptive.
Examples of Prohibited Behavior
- Repeatedly sending the same message until it fills the chat.
- Rapidly sending meaningless or random messages.
- Repeatedly advertising social-media accounts, handles, or links.
- Playing music or soundboards containing prohibited hate speech.
- Using an excessively loud microphone in a manner that disrupts other players.
Respect the Game
Players are expected to respect both other players and the intended mechanics of BattleBit.
Abusing gameplay mechanics to unfairly obtain excessive experience, statistics, weapon progression, skins, or other rewards is prohibited.
Players may also not manipulate or alter the intended gameplay experience to obtain an unfair advantage.
Boosting & Progression Abuse
Players may not intentionally manipulate gameplay to artificially increase progression or statistics.
An example would be arranging for other players to repeatedly allow themselves to be killed and revived solely to generate experience, kills, or weapon progression.
Exploits
Players may not knowingly abuse bugs or unintended mechanics to obtain an unfair gameplay advantage.
Examples include:
- Exploiting a bug that makes the player invulnerable.
- Using an exploit to capture objectives or kill opponents while invulnerable.
- Entering structures or areas through unintended methods and attacking players through objects that are intended to block those attacks.
Cheating
Software, hardware, or other tools that alter the intended game experience to provide an unfair advantage are prohibited.
Examples include:
- Software that automatically aims at other players.
- Software that enables unintended movement or flight.
- Tools that extract player-location information from game memory.
- Overlays that reveal players through walls or other objects when that information is not normally available.
Suspension & Ban Evasion
Respecting BattleBit's enforcement decisions is also part of respecting the game.
Players may not use another account to bypass an active suspension or other account restriction.
Purchasing or using another copy of the game specifically to continue playing while another account is suspended is considered suspension evasion.
How These Guidelines Apply on [RS] Servers
Players using an [RS] Rogue Soldiers Clan BattleBit: Remastered server are expected to comply with both:
- The BattleBit: Remastered Community Guidelines.
- The applicable [RS] game-server rules and community standards.
The BattleBit guidelines establish the game's overall behavioral requirements. [RS] server rules may establish additional standards necessary to manage our individual servers, maintain match quality, and protect the community.
A behavior does not need to appear in both sets of rules before it can be enforced.
Players on [RS] servers are responsible for following both BattleBit's rules and applicable [RS] rules.
Your Account Is Your Responsibility
BattleBit players are responsible for activity occurring through their accounts.
Players should protect their account credentials and should not allow another person to use their account in a manner that could violate the Community Guidelines.
